Operations Manager – Central & Eastern Europe

We are looking for an Operations Manager with strong knowledge of Central and Eastern Europe to support the practical execution of Merova's projects across the region.

You will be involved in turning expansion plans into functioning local operations — coordinating people, suppliers, partners and processes and ensuring that projects move forward efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate the implementation of client projects across Central and Eastern Europe

- Support the establishment and development of local operations

- Coordinate local suppliers, partners and service providers

- Support recruitment, onboarding and team development for new operations

- Coordinate administrative and operational requirements during market entry

- Establish and improve processes to ensure efficient day-to-day operations

- Monitor project progress, timelines and deliverables

- Identify operational issues and find practical solutions

- Build and maintain a reliable network of local resources across the region

What we are looking for

- Strong knowledge of Central and Eastern Europe

- Experience in operations, project management, consulting, business development or a related field

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects

- Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

- Excellent English; additional European languages are an advantage

- Based in or originally from Central or Eastern Europe

We are looking for someone who can take responsibility, work across borders and make things happen — from the initial setup of an operation through to its successful implementation.
