Metal Fabricator for the Production of Structural Steelwork

Steel Fabricator / Welder / Structural Mechanic (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed team member (m/f/d) who can work both in our workshop and on civil engineering and specialist foundation engineering sites.

Our focus is on the fabrication and installation of steel structures, particularly temporary structures for challenging construction projects in bridge construction, civil engineering and specialist foundation engineering.

Your responsibilities:

• Fabricating and assembling steel structures in accordance with technical drawings
• Performing welding work, particularly MAG welding
• Cutting, drilling, tack welding and machining steel components
• Carrying out welding and flame-cutting work on civil engineering and specialist foundation engineering sites
• Installing and adjusting steel structures on site

What you bring:

• Professional experience in steel construction, metalworking or welding
• Good knowledge of MAG welding (processes 135 and 136)
• Confident use of flame-cutting equipment and other tools
• Experience reading technical drawings is an advantage
• Willingness to work in different locations, both in the workshop and on construction sites
• Independent, reliable and meticulous approach to work
• Team spirit and good practical skills
• Category B driving licence is an advantage
